Now you can cook a wide variety of dishes using several different methods: Firehut can be used for cooking whole chickens, as well as for smoking meat or blazing fish. Crabs, vegetables… and of course steaks! There's nothing like that aromatic, wood-fired flavour of a tender grilled steak!
Masterkit comes with a strong, porcelain enamelled cast iron grill grate (+ a steel ring for its installation). The accessories also include a hatch with a thermometer and a wooden handle, which are perfect for making the temperature inside the grill more even. The included heat deflector and drip tray enable slow cooking with indirect heat. Before smoking, you can lift the grill grate higher, further away from the fire. Burn small pieces of wood under the separate smoking fire chamber, adding more wood as necessary. By using the heat deflector, heat will be evenly distributed throughout the grill and can be easily controlled.
Smoking and grilling on an open fire may require some patience, but then again, it's a fantastic past time to spend either on your own or with your family and friends. It's all about enjoying the peaceful surroundings, sounds of nature, crackling fire, and smell of the wood-fired cooking... It's a pleasure for all the senses.
In addition to wood, you can also burn charcoal or briquettes, which make it possible to start grilling considerably faster!

Also remember the local fire safety regulations and necessary safety distances, if you plan to place the fireplace near any buildings. The raw materials of the product are uncoated and unpainted steel grades. Each product is unique and may have minor scratches or marks on the surface. This is part of the raw materials we use. COR-TEN® metal parts are pre-treated during production, and have a thin copper-tone rust patina on the surface.
